Lasair Dhearg held its annual organisers meeting today in Belfast. As a democratic organisation, the gathering provides our core organisers and activists with the opportunity to have input into the continued running of our movement, the shaping of campaigns, departments, policies and more. Held midway between the annual Ard Fheis, it offers a valuable opportunity for comrades from across the country to meet, share updates, review progress since the Ard Fheis, and plan for the remainder of the year.
Today, organisers discussed and contributed to a range of topics, including the final stages of the Lasair Dhearg Housing Policy, which will be ratified by branches in the coming weeks. They also participated in a planning session to align organisational priorities with campaigns and activism, concluding the day with a political education session.
