PSNI action plan: to groom children

It was recently revealed that the PSNI plans to target schools with an action plan to try and “widen representation of the force” once the new school year starts in September.

When revealing the action plan, the PSNI Chief Constable admitted that he did not think that the PSNI had done enough in their last three recruitment campaigns over the last two years to focus on representation and to increase their number of newly recruited foot solders.

Boucher made these comments despite the PSNI intending to spend more than 200 million pounds on their last three recruitment campaigns. These campaigns saw the PSNI attempt to saturate Republican areas, TV and radio stations with recruitment advertisements in a normalisation attempt.

In the three recent PSNI recruitment campaigns, Lasair Dhearg and other Republican organisations were active in opposing them. We successfully got attempted school visits cancelled and redecorated PSNI and British Prison Service recruitment posters. We appeal to schools to not put the children they care for at risk by letting armed gunmen of a force who have forcibly strip searched children or PSNI action plans into their facilities.

It is only in a 32 County Socialist Republic that there will be a Police Service that will defend the interests of the people against those that try to exploit them.
