British military convoy on road to Ballymena, occupied Ireland.

For many years now the political class that runs Stormont have been telling us that the British army is no longer on our streets, when there is plenty of evidence to the contrary.

That very army can be seen regularly in Belfast, Derry and other parts of the 6 Counties, often accompanied by their counterparts in the PSNI as they carry out ‘recruitment’ stalls at events or conduct searches of homes and property.

Just days ago, a convoy of 10 heavily camouflaged British army vehicles was seen driving in the direction of Ballymena, where this photo was taken.

What does all of this mean? We can be in absolutely no doubt, that Britain still maintains a very heavily armed military and state apparatus in the Six Counties. That same army is engaged in conflict in many countries where civilians are routinely killed. Britain’s empire is very much alive and none of us will be fooled by talk of it ‘disengaging’ from Ireland.
