Lasair Dhearg activists have been busy over the last number of days [30th March 2019] highlighting the inherent failure of the Stormont Administration as part of our Stormont Can’t Deliver campaign. Activists covered many areas of Belfast with protest stencils.

Since the Six-County assembly at Stormont was revived by the British government in 2007, and until its eventual collapse, it had proven to be a loyal implementer of the policies that derive from Westminster. The Stormont executive had been unwilling and unable to oppose the neo-liberal agenda of various British Governments.

Our message is clear – when it comes to Irish language rights, women’s rights and the rights of the LGBTQ+ community, when it comes to housing or public services, and when it comes to achieving a 32 County Socialist Republic – Stormont Can’t Deliver!

Over the next number of weeks and months we will be intensifying our campaign and ensuring that the Socialist Republican message is heard.
